While the MEE covers a wide range of subjects, tax law is not a primary focus. Common subjects include Constitutional Law, Contracts, Torts, and more.
The MEE assesses a candidate’s ability to analyze legal issues, apply relevant legal principles, and communicate effectively in writing.
Candidates are typically given 3 hours to complete the MEE, with 30 minutes allotted per essay question.
